All in all, you are looking for a return on investment. After tweaking many campaigns it becomes clear as to what keywords were the winners, so I mostly focused on those keywords and do some tricks to get a high quality score. I usually don't get to crazy on the "saving" a few pennies aspect, but I focus rather on the overall "making" money. I just don't think babysitting adwords is the best use of my time for me or my clients. It all comes down to the ROI. (Return on investment). There is no magic wholesale $0.01 traffic. There is CPV marketing where you can get traffic at $0.01, but if that's all you're looking when making your decision towards what type of traffic to use then you're missing a lot.
