Hi Daegan, thanks for 'fessing up ;)
It's good to know even the big guys don't do everything perfectly.

Do you have to create a new form for each separate traffic source?

I use Aweber and do it slightly differently. I use the same form but change one line of code - just the value="" bit here:

    eg: value="Facebook"

Aweber then gives me an ad tracking report showing where the leads came from.

Sorry, that code snippet was edited out. I'll try it again..

    The line of code is:
    input type=”hidden” name=”meta_adtracking” id=”meta_adtracking” value=""

hehe - Daegan, did you actually use the term "non sequitur" in a blog post? whoa ... fancy! hehe

Seriously, you have my utmost respect Daegan - you're one of the few leaders who lead from the front - keep these posts coming! This was killer and I am implementing it now!

  4. Smoking man! Hey that cool footer form, how to You get it?

Once again... a simple but effective tip. Thanks for sharing. Didn't know you used Getresponse, I also use them.

That is a great way to get the idea where the traffic is coming from. Once you know the direction from where it is coming from you can position yourself better.
