  1. Daegan, I've been listen to you for a short time now and it seems you are on the up & up! I am just really getting into this internet on this level. At this point I don't have a lot of funds to explore. I am direct to the company so I am in search of strong leaders like yourself. Those that listen to you I feel will be very successful when they follow through on what you teach.

Daegan, You are still the man you are correct sending 2 emails works they may miss or over look the 1st but when they see it a gain the click even with the same headline. You taught me how to set up my 1st funnel system and you still give good stuff keep up the good work.

A quick question... In using daily emails, are we just sending out random tips? I ask this because there are two types of internet marketers, ones who have experience, and others who don't. If a new internet marketer is starting out, wouldn't it best to start them with a "first step" email? Or do keep it random, and say "for an exact step-by-step formula, please download my ebook"???

    Just a thought...

  4. #4 Daegan Smith says:

No tips are random in my book as long they are personal. I've done both, here's your first step type emails and just daily updates. Daily updates that put an emphasis on you entertaining more than here's how to do something "step-by-step" always win. Think of yourself like Howard Stern . . . People show up because they want to be entertained. You sharing in the same way, being personal is all you need. Don't over think this at this point. Action beats perfect planning any day . . .

    Hi Daegan

Thanks for that tip..the 3rd party system i am with has an
autoresponder setup. I will take time to look at it and see if I have the flexibility to do as you have so graciously "tipped" us what to do.
    Thanks

Daegan, I find your emails hard to delete because they always have something valuable to share. Maybe that observation alone is one of the biggest tips of all- that we could render such consistent value that business growth is inevitable. Thanks

  7. I heard what you had to say it was great, I would love to have you as a leader in on my sight. You do tremendous work outs with everyone.
    Thank You

    Hey, Daegan.

This is great. I want to play with it a bit with the ultimate goal of increasing conversions in my autoresponder campaigns. There's one small issue on which I'd appreciate your input and that is how best to eliminate the temporal variable from your test so that it's a true A-B split test. Since there will likely be a slightly different response rate between emails sent early versus later in the day, and from one day to the next, I don't see an easy way to eliminate the second (time) variable without doing complicated multi-variable testing. My KISS approach would be to test as you suggest and then test again on two separate days a month or two later. I wouldn't expect the results to be perfect, but if the same headline wins both times, you don't really need to know the precise numbers.

Have you looked at trying to eliminate the temporal variable or am I making this way more complicated than it needs to be?

    Best,

    Dave,

In my opinion yeah you're making it to complicated. Once you have a list you'll know how they generally react and you'll see the acceleration of clicks as different from headline to the next. Kinda hard to explain, but you'll see it the more you email your prospects and you'll be able to make pretty accurate judgements based on that.

great tip. you should make a video helping people to follow through on the wonderful tips you give and in life in general. since 95% dont. considering 95% do not follow through means theres a huge 95% failure rate . which means a massive problem and loss of money. 95% loss to be exact. i think we need to find a solution to this problem asap. =]

  12. #12 Daegan Smith says:

    MJ,

What you think is a problem is not. It's simply the natural way of things. Like the great Jim Rohn once said when asked "How come only some do?" he replied "I wouldn't ask that question. We can only concern ourselves with helping the truly prosperity minded. Abundance is a way of thinking, it can't be forced it can only be nurtured.

    Hey Daegan,

    Nice one.

Regarding MJ's Post. It is interesting that many do not follow through with what they "think" they want.

Reprogramming is a skill that I believe can be learned, but that again takes motivation and so we run into another catch 22.

Your content is truly top notch Daegan. Thanks for all that you do.

  16. #16 Carl Arakawa says:

    Daegan,

I'm a newbie. I connected with a student of yours and he produced 1,700 email leads that bought a clickbank affilate product. I was shocked to see $1,200 in sales on the first day and by the end of the first week $2,250. It cost me $2,500 to go onto someones mailing list and clickbank heldback some money for chargebacks. The whole campaign cost me $800.

My problem is after 2 meetings, I have not seen him again and I don't know what he did to create the sales. I check my clickbank account and no more sales are being generated and my auto reponder is 57% complete in sending emails to 1,700 people.

I know there is a learning curve I must go through, how long does it take to make consistant an predictable money online?

    Carl

  17. #17 Daegan Smith says:

Carl, what can I answer for you?

  18. Great Job Daegan! I am going to be using this technique! Great video! You Da man!!

  19. #19 Kal Gutman says:

    Hi Daegan,

I'm thinking of joining your program. But would like to address Carl's problem.

Carl, it's great that you are jumping in with both feet and taking action but I think any newbie should not be "buying in" to become successful online.

Just because somebody else made sales the first week does not mean they were in profit.
I would be more interested in the Ad spend that created these sales for this person.
Plus buying a mailing list is not something I would do either.

Start slow and learn the traffic building techniques to promote your products and this way you will be more consistent in your business.

The learning curve is big and don't let anyone tell you there is a time frame to consistently make money online because there isn't for the most part people do not make money online with the "get rich quick" attitude anyway.

Your system that you started with does not sound reliable as a steady income earner at all

Slow right down and consistently build your own list and learn from your mistakes and move forward in your business building strategies if you have one.

But I definitely would not buy any mailing lists that's for sure.

    Kal Gutman

  20. #20 Ian Belanger says:

@Carl Carl I am also a newbie, with a limited budget to boot, so I have looked for cheap ways to build a list. I would reccomend starting and being very active on a blog. I have had the best luck with mine so far. I also do not reccomend buying a list, you reall y don't know what you will get with it and most likey if someone is selling it, they aren't making much with it, or they wouldn't sell it.
There is no get rich quick magic system out there. It takes hard work and determination to make it big, just as in any other type of business.
I hope this helps you and good luck with your business.

Also thanks Daegan for the tips, you have been a big help to my career.
