I also think that it’s very important as a marketer to always keep an eye open for other marketing strategies and buy other products to learn something new. And I don’t really believe in automated robots get rich quick schemes. Money can be earned fast but only if you deliver value extremely fast and high quality.

Daegan,I use to sell Prudential Insurance. I’ve been told by successful marketers that I should only market one primary business. I say that is BS. This site demonstrates my marketing paradigm. Like you stated,Daegan,it is a little too busy with many offers. This only proves my point,Cash1,2,3,4 is meaning to appeal to different browsers. Many variables to consider.Yet, the key is to learn what other marketers are employing and decide if you want to use their thunder to enhance your business model. This is intelligent research that we need to invest to keep our marketing fresh;also, constantly on improving the numbers we put on the boards.Knowing the competition is paramount!

I often take this to another level. Not only do I investigate intriguing offers to the extent that I can (going through the funnel as you show here), I usually GRAB the site contents and keep a COPY of the site/pages on my hard drive for future reference. Whenever possible, I also get the audio-video content as well.

This digital “morgue” then becomes a source of inspiration and education for me.

You’re right Daegan. It’s all about what’s right in front of your eyes. And though I try to keep my eyes open, I must confess that I’m not always as on top of things as I should be.

I’ll try to do better. (;-)]

There’s the famous saying: “Success leaves clues.” We would all do well to pay careful attention to success wherever we find it and constantly question why it is that something works – and wherever possible learn HOW it works.

On a personal note, you reminded me of Russell Brunson in this video.

Like you, he was a wrestler in school. In fact, he’s now semi-retired from online marketing to pursue a comeback and his Olympic dreams.

But beyond this, he’s an avid and self-described “marketing geek.” I’ve seen pictures of him in high school, sitting on his bed surrounded by piles of circulars, mailers, catalogs, etc. On one of his videos, he said that in school he was interested in two things: wrestling and marketing. Girls were a distant third. (;-)]

He’s married now and very, very successful (much like yourself), and still young enough to go after his sports dreams, which I personally think is very, very cool. He’s even building a training facility for would-be Olympic wrestling hopefuls where they can live and work as well.

The point is that there’s a common theme here (besides wrestling): if you want to really excel at anything in life and be rated among “the best,” you must be a student of the field. Frankly, it helps to be obsessed. But at the end of the day, if you put in even that extra 10% effort into the right things, you’ll be way ahead of the 80% who don’t/won’t do it!

P.S.: I can’t speak to the FAP Forex program, but one of my buds – a top “internet marketing guru” in his own right – is doing very, very well in Forex and has been for some years now. Deagan, I think you’re the type of guy that would probably excel at it too, with your penchant for system mechanics and thorough, meticulous testing! (:-)]

You bring up a concept that is maybe better described as a mind-shift, which is to start thinking like a marketer rather than a customer. Almost all of us start out being customers, but the expertise starts accelerating when we look from the other side.

Good stuff as usual. I appreciate you.
